Web developer
We are looking for a PHP developer with over 3 years experience in the development of web sites and web based, server-side applications to join our team. You will be experienced with open source technologies and be highly proficient in PHP and MySQL; plus XHTML, CSS and Javascript. We also expect a good working knowledge of Photoshop and working alongside a creative design team. You will have a good commercial and strategic awareness, and have the ability to be self-managed and meet demanding deadlines.
- 3+ years PHP / MySQ L development experience, including JavaScript / AJAX, XML, XHTML, CSS
- Experience integrating established software (such as OS Commerce / Jshop / Wordpress etc)
- Commitment to building web sites to W3C and common accessibility standards
- Cross-browser development knowledge with good attention to detail
- Ability to work on a number of projects simultaneously
- An enthusiasm for learning new, cutting edge open source technologies
- An excellent team player but can also work on own initiative when required
