DR Electrical had previously tried using e-commerce but had not seen much success. Still interested in the prospects that the net had to offer they approached Cite. Cite devised a brand for their on-line store, derived from their Italian roots and the fact that they sell appliances, Applia was born.
Cite has produced an e-commerce solution and a long term marketing plan that has included affiliate schemes, various product feeds to price comparison site and direct e-mail marketing. Applia then invested time into search engine optimisation (SEO), all of these efforts have been reflected in increased traffic and trade. With Citešs help the site now manages over 3,500 products.
