From humble beginnings as a small growing nursery with garden shop attached in 1981, Brookfields is this year celebrating its 25th anniversary supplying Nottingham gardeners. Nowadays Brookfields offer a diverse range of plants and garden products, reflecting the changing nature of gardeners and gardening over time.
The project requirements were quite simple - a visually attractive web site that literally sets out the Brookfields stall. The site is largely content managed, allowing administrators to update the department information - adding special offers and lines as they arrive. The design took into account the need to update the look of the site to reflect the seasons. Bold photography shot at Brookfields ourselves is used throughout. The next phase of the site will offer full e-commerce.
