Cite launches Cafédirect Facebook competition
Our app developers have launched a new Facebook competition for Cafédirect, just in time for the Christmas season. The Facebook app, called “Tis the Season to Win Coffee,” invites users to create their ideal coffee blend for a chance to have it made just for them by Cafédirect’s coffee expert, Thierry.
The “Tis the Season to Win Coffee” app was created to promote Cafédirect’s Single Origin range over the holidays. When users arrive to the app, they are asked to select from different types of body, character, finish and acidity that would make up their perfect coffee. Once they’ve made their selections, users fill out an entry form for a chance to have their blend created especially for them and delivered by Christmas.
After the user’s entry is submitted, their coffee recipe is compared to Cafédirect’s existing Single Origin coffees, and the user is shown the Cafédirect coffee that most closely matches their preferences. Users are then able to share their results, browse the rest of the Single Origin range, and use Slingshot to instantly add Cafédirect’s products into their online shopping basket.
The “Tis the Season to Win Coffee” Facebook app is one of several that we’ve created for Cafédirect over the last year, including the “Made the Small Way” competition and “12 Days of Treats” competition.
