Monika website design

We’re pleased to announce the launch of a new B2B website for Monika, a leading international manufacturer of wireless temperature monitoring solutions.

Most of Monika’s customers operate within the food manufacturing and catering industries, which have traditionally relied on manual checks and paper-based record keeping. Monika’s product range has recently expanded to include sophisticated task-management hardware/software which seamlessly integrates with their existing wireless temperature monitoring equipment, so it was vital that the website leverage the advantage this offers over rival systems.

Another core objective of the new website is to generate sales leads. Together with Monika, we recognised this could best be achieved through concise and jargon-free language and a modern, impactful design.

Following an initial briefing, we began by researching the sector and examining how competitor companies communicated online. We analysed potential user journeys and found opportunities for the new Monika website to really stand out.

Creatively, our web designers strived to emphasise the joined-up thinking and industry expertise that Monika provide. We wanted to create a website that took the user on a journey – explaining the sophistication of the solution, but without bombarding them in jargon and technicalities.

From the moment the user arrives at the site, they can learn about the system, or contact Monika for immediate interaction. The homepage uses an ‘explainer video’ to provide a high-level overview, and quality photography shows real world applications of their solutions. To make sure everything worked with the website’s design, we art directed the photography and storyboarded the video.

Monika’s UK offices primarily service the Europe market, however they also have a strong presence in the Middle East and Australasia, so the site also needed to accommodate localised content optimised for these regions.

Needless to say, the site is fully responsive – so it looks just as great on a tablet or smartphone as it does on a desktop, and it works immaculately across browsers and operating systems.
