Cite have been working with Thomas & Betts brands for over a decade and recently they approached us with a problem many businesses face, they wanted their brands to be on social media but weren’t sure how to use it as a successful marketing tool and didn’t have the time to do it right. Over the last few months we’ve been maintaining the Twitter profiles for five of its brands, HarnessFlex, Kopex-ex, PipeTools, Elkay and Adaptaflex, and we’ve already begun to see results.
In order to build relationships and bring in new business for the brands, our social media experts regularly post tweets, engage with followers, and promote the brands as industry experts. We also keep an eye out for relevant Twitter conversations and make sure we’re generating interesting content for each brand. And, to give Thomas & Betts complete control, all our tweets are approved before being published.
In addition to tweeting, we’ve also developed websites for some of these brands, and assisted with their email marketing and SEO, so we were really excited when they were ready to branch into social media. Since maintaining the Thomas & Betts Twitter profiles the brands have already seen an increase in followers and new opportunities for business.
