Our tech sector portfolio has been bolstered further following the work we have done with Connect this year, covering brand, web, video and offline.

Connect is all about helping people communicate better, offering market-leading solutions and managed services across the Contact Centre, Unified Communications and Network sectors. The Connect team approached us for a full re-brand and implementation across digital and offline collateral.

Developing a new brand

Kicking off with discovery, we chaired workshops (online using Miro) with the senior team. These sessions extracted much of the insight needed to start defining the new Connect brand. Outputs included vision and mission statements, brand personalities and values, brand story and visual articulation. 

The new logo uses an infinity icon, representing the unity and connection that Connect brings to their clients. 

Bringing the brand to life

With the new rebranding, Connect was entering an exciting period of growth. The obvious next step was to communicate this through their website – a critical destination in persuasively presenting their credentials and industry experience.

Connect were aiming at three core audience groups; senior decision makers within IT, Operations and Contact Centre management. To target each, the website takes the groups through three stages of engagement:

  1. Education:​ From Contact Centre fundamentals to the vital question ‘Why choose Connect?’
  2. Evaluation:​ Enable audiences to quickly understand the Connect advantage and what makes them different to competitors and other platforms/providers
  3. Action:​ Prompt visitors to quickly access free consultation and advice, watch demonstrations, participate in Webinars, and interact with the Connect brand.

The website includes a ‘Your Challenges’ section, giving these audience groups a dedicated section to find solutions to their particular pain points.

Adding motion to the user experience

We wanted to use animation to support Connect’s proposition. Our creative team scripted, storyboarded and delivered the homepage video and supplemented the interface with animated flourishes.

To reflect the brand values, we used innovative technology like Lottie to streamline animation load time, enhancing the user experience and highlighting key messaging.

The end result is a slick and modern design that is carefully structured and labelled, making the presentation of content clear and concise.

Pre launch teaser campaign

Before the new brand was revealed, we helped Connect create anticipation via a social media campaign – a tongue-in-cheek conversation on Linkedin between client/agency – that drove engagement amongst staff, partners, competitors and contacts. 

The website also integrates with Hubspot, providing a joined up digital marketing infrastructure for the future. This was a thoroughly rewarding and enjoyable project to work on, and the finished result for the Connect brand (across web, print and digital) is something the Cite team are really proud of.
