New recruitment microsite launched for NHS UHL

NHS UHL website

Our latest NHS digital project is a recruitment microsite for University Hospitals Leicester NHS Trust. They needed a platform to promote the Trust as a great place to develop a career with the city of Leicester a great place to live.

Cite partnered with UHL’s in-house development team and HR department to deliver the project. We were responsible for the UX, content planning, creative delivery and front-end build. This resulted in a series of content templates, packaged as W3C compliant HTML/CSS within a custom WordPress theme which was handed over to their web team. We’ve often worked alongside other parties and agencies on a variety of projects and enjoy the collaborative process.

“We partnered with Cite given their impressive track record of delivering websites for NHS organisations. They were instrumental in helping plan the project and their creative team did a brilliant job in turning our brief into a reality!”
– Simon Andrews, Project lead / UHL Communications team

The Trust have a large library of their own photography. Part of the creative cycle involved our designers visiting the hospital to review the imagery available and select the most appropriate to meet the project brief. The approach for the site was to be very people focused; positive, team orientated and enthusiastic.

The site was ‘soft-launched’ in July 2016. As a next step we are undertaking an audit to ensure content and design are properly synchronised.
