New website for Merton Group is launched

We’re happy to announce the launch of a new responsive website for Merton Group, a leading UK manufacturer of disposable paper products and cleaning supplies.

Merton Group was looking for a website that promoted its extensive product catalogue online while generating business leads. Having worked with so many manufacturers, we were in a good position to understand Merton’s requirements and how to translate those to the new site.

The product catalogue is at the heart of Merton’s new website. Visitors are able to browse thousands of products by category, sector or task. Every product has a detail page that describes its features, lists available sizes, and provides technical support documents. Product pages also include a “related products” section to help visitors quickly find everything they need.

While looking through the site, visitors are able to add products to a “shopping list” that can then be submitted to Merton’s sales team for a quote.

With such a large range of products to manage, keeping the site updated was a concern for the website’s administrators. We worked closely with Merton’s IT Team to integrate the company’s ERP system into the site so it automatically pulls in the product information on a daily basis. This provides visitors with the most up-to-date product details and gives administrators peace of mind that their content is managed without additional effort.

The rest of the site was built using WordPress, so administrators can manage all the other pages quickly and easily.
