Helping industry-leader Roofspace Solutions refresh their website
Following our successful work with International Timber and our established track record working with Saint-Gobain, we were appointed to give Roofspace Solutions’ website a complete creative and technical overhaul. Roofspace Solutions are an award-winning brand within the construction sector. Their innovative i-House and i-Roof products offer improved quality and speed of delivery.
As with most B2B clients, the twin objectives were increasing lead generation and brand perception. Their old website failed to present Roofspace Solutions as an industry-leader.
One interface – two flagship products
Working closely with the client, we defined the messaging most appropriate to the audience of housing developers/builders. It was clear there was a real desire to promote the i-House products, whilst balancing the visibility of i-Roof.
These two distinct products are clearly presented in the primary navigation and boldly on the homepage making it easy for housing developers or commercial directors to access the solution of interest. Both product sections benefit from a distinctive design that demonstrates credibility and underlines quality and innovation. Page layouts maximise the vertical, created from a pool of photography provided by the client.
The website needed to be unique and stand out in the marketplace, while also being consistently branded with other brands within the Off-Site Solutions Division.
Future-proofing the website
Designing with future developments in mind was essential – it was clear from the initial scoping meeting that the client had plans to expand the website. With this in mind, we deployed a modular approach that anticipates expansion and provides the client with immediate flexibility in managing content. The site is a WordPress custom theme, with a bespoke admin interface that makes updates by marketing staff simple and intuitive.
Working through Covid-19
This project started, continued and was completed all during the UK Covid-19 pandemic which is a testament to collaboration and communication of both teams.
Project Manager, Stephen, explains how smooth the process was:
“From a design point of view, we were able to be a bit more experimental which led us to creating pages that are unique and highly impactful. Personally, I think the site looks fantastic. It sets Roofspace Solutions miles apart from the competition. Having worked with International Timber recently, this set up with a good foundation and sped up the process. Some of the team on both sides already knew each other so there was a degree of familiarity and an established way of working through the milestones. Everyone was focused and on-track throughout the project, which I think is reflected in the final product.”
