TyreSafe was established in 2006 as a not-for-profit organisation. It campaigns to raise awareness about the dangers associated with defective or illegal tyres. To celebrate TyreSafe’s 10th year, we were commissioned to create a fresh new web site for the organisation.
The site is the hub for regular campaign activity and topical updates. It has a rich archive of tyre safety information and includes useful online consumer tools such as the ‘Check your pressures’ function.
We have worked with TyreSafe since its formation and this is the third website we have created for them in that time. The site was designed ‘mobile-first,’ reflecting the increased use of mobile and tablet devices by visitors to the site. The client was concerned with preserving their Google ranking and requested that the site structure and directory naming follow the old site as closely as possible.
The site is a custom WordPress build, and further underlines Cite’s reputation as a leading digital agency for the creation of unique, cross-platform WordPress themes.
