It’s increasingly been used by PR guys and dolls to promote their wares. But this week it’s been the surgeons who have been using this social networking to communicate.

According to CNN doctors in an American hospital have been Twitter for the second time this week to provide real-time updates on a tumour removal.  Nice!

Whether you think this is weird or not, it looks like we might get more surgeons plugging in their Tweeterfons or Twitterdecks before scrubbing up and slapping on their latex gloves.

In the mean time us mortals will continue plugging away on mundane daily PR activities.
