The DHP Family owns and operates several leading live music venues and clubs in the UK, including Rock City, Stealth, Bodega, Thekla, Rescue Rooms, and the Splendour Festival. Each venue has its own style and fan base, and they have been gathering places for music lovers for decades.
Over the years we’ve worked with the DHP Family to design and develop the websites and apps they’ve needed for their venues.
Music venue websites
The DHP Family needed new websites for five of their venues, all of which showcase the various events each venue holds while giving people a quick and easy way to buy tickets for those shows. The sites were developed using one Joomla-based framework, which was then reskinned to give each venue’s site a different look and feel. Not only did this save on cost, it also meant that administrators only had to learn one CMS.
Responsive WordPress website
DHP Family’s latest venture is Oslo, an exciting new restaurant / live music venue in fashionable Hackney. A unique design was required based on the distinct interior design which is inspired by Nordic folklore and fairytales.View project
Rock City Mobile app
For iPhone and Android devices
This app provides gig listings and club information in real time. Using web technologies and packaged through PhoneGap we were able to develop the site to a limited budget, which was funded by Tuborg Lager. App notifications provide special promotions and offers from the venue.
Hosting and support
We partner with Rackspace in hosting all DHP’s websites. This provides a business class SLA to ensure 100% availability. Our flexible ‘pay-as-you-go’ support package ensures their maintenance spend is kept to a minimum.
“We’re very pleased to have been able to work alongside Cite during the redevelopment of our new websites.
