Saint-Gobain and its brands design, manufacture and distribute materials and solutions that are all around us; in buildings, transportation, infrastructure and in many industrial applications.
We have worked with a number of Saint Gobain brands over the past few years. In the main, we are engaged in the creation and delivery of their digital platforms – typically marketing websites that help them gain market share and raise brand awareness among key UK target audiences; distributors and end users.
We undertook discovery sessions with each of the brands to ensure our team was clear on the audience(s) the website needed to be aimed at.
We also work extremely closely with Saint Gobain IT to ensure sites are secure, and conform to their internal security and accessibility requirements

The previous site was not working hard enough for the brand and the presentation of the product range was less than inspiring. Our designers worked closely with the International Timber team to apply their brand assets to the new website design and ensure that the brands expertise and reliability were emphasised.
The primary marketing goal for the site was to encourage more visitors to request a quote for products, or physical product samples. The site is a product catalogue and the sample request process had to be carefully considered and intuitive for the user.
Our in-house development team then delivered the website in the WordPress CMS platform, again working with the Timber team to ensure they had an intuitive admin interface to manage and add content to the site.
We expanded the customer resources section and introduced a simple chatbot. This answers the routine questions the sales team often have to field on the phone, freeing them up to concentrate on developing the leads the website has generated.
Following on from our successful work with International Timber we were appointed to redesign and rebuild Roofspace Solutions’ website, also on the WordPress platform.
The primary aim of the site was to promote the two distinct products that Roofspace offers their customers. We worked closely with the Roofspace team to ensure the target audiences were clearly identified.
Designing with future developments in mind was essential – it was clear from the initial scoping meeting that the client had plans to expand the website. With this in mind, we deployed a modular approach that anticipates expansion and provides the client with immediate flexibility in managing content.
Saint-Gobain Self Build
This project was focused on people who are taking their first steps into, or considering a self-build project.
As the proposed website was more content heavy, a decision was made to use the Drupal platform which offers a highly flexible and customizable taxonomy system to categorise and manage content.
Working with Saint-Gobain’s design partners we evaluated the proposed designs for the site from both a usability perspective, but also from an interface point of view – to ensure that the designs would help the site achieve its aims. Following on from refining the proposed designs the site was then delivered in Drupal.
More recently we were then commissioned to build a bespoke ‘to do’ tool that users can sign up to and use to help them manage their own self-build project(s).
