The Big Event 1: Knauf UK annual conference
Knauf UK has a big annual conference for its staff from all over the country. This year, they asked us to help them plan the event and create a delegate experience that would help bring their exciting plans for 2024 to life. We worked with the Knauf marketing team and event specialists 119 to come up with a whole bunch of stuff, including:
- A big backdrop and dressing for the main stage
- Presentation slides
- Digital posters
- Signage for the tables, pillars, and breakout rooms
- Live Doodle services
We came up with some fun activities for the staff, like:
- A Polaroid photo wall
- Life-sized photo frames
- A “University Challenge” quiz
The quiz was a secret project that we had to keep under wraps! Our design team had a lot of fun creating the branded table-surround boards, and our colleagues at 119 Production Services manufactured and assembled them.
We also sourced or created all of the support materials, such as Knauf-branded roller banners, button badges, buzzers, and scoreboard flippers.
The Knauf UK Annual conference was a big success, and our client services team did a great job of making sure everything ran smoothly.
Account Director, Amie Massarella, said she really enjoyed working on the project and that she’s proud of the team for going the extra mile to make sure Knauf got exactly what they wanted.
Knauf Head of Marketing UK and Ireland, Liam Poole, was equally happy with the results. He said he’s really grateful to the Cite team for making the conference such a success, and that he’s confident we’ll deliver again next year.
