Facebook competition launched for Artex Easifix
We’ve just launched a new social media campaign for Artex Easifix, a leading UK brand of home repair products. The campaign marks Artex Easifix’s first foray into Facebook and introduces the “Crack Squad,” an elite team of DIY experts who are on a mission to prevent DIY disasters around the country.
The Crack Squad campaign centres on a Facebook competition where one lucky person will win a two-night stay at a Malmaison hotel of their choice. To enter, users need to answer a multiple-choice question and fill in a brief contact form. To make the app more interesting, we’ve built in a dynamic “DIY Most Wanted” list that randomly pulls in profile photos of the user’s friends. The competition also includes a spoof video confession of a DIY bodger who was caught by the Crack Squad.
In addition to designing and developing this Facebook competition, we also managed and oversaw the photoshoot for the Crack Squad and the video that is featured within the app. We’ve also set up Facebook ads to promote the competition and created promotional banners for Artex’s websites.
