Responsive design for new Datum website
We’ve recently launched a marketing website for Datum, a new UK based data centre business. In addition to a strong visual delivery, we developed the site using responsive design techniques to accommodate Datum’s audience of mobile Internet users.
Carefully selected photography provides a bold visual impact and underlines Datum’s core messages. The website was developed using the popular WordPress CMS, and is heavily customised to provide Datum with all the functionality required.
Responsive design is key to effective web communication. Datum’s website automatically resizes and reorders content depending on what device or screen size the visitor is viewing. With an estimated 40% of users now accessing the web on mobile devices, it is important that Datum provide a properly optimised site to all visitors, whether using a desktop PC at work or a smartphone on the move.
In addition to creating this new website, we created Datum’s branding, from logo through to supporting offline marketing material. We also assisted in defining the name for the business.
