Mobile app launched for TyreSafe

As part of Tyre Safety Month 2014, we were commissioned to design and build a mobile app for TyreSafe. The app was developed using the latest web-based technologies – Sencha Touch and Phonegap – and has just launched for iPhone and Android.

A list of local tyre retailers are displayed based on GPS location (or postcode search). This data is integrated with the TyreSafe website. The app also provides a digested ‘on-the-go’ list of tyre advice articles as well as live tyre safety updates via Twitter / RSS.

TyreSafe are a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to raising awareness about the dangers associated with defective or illegal tyres. We were engaged to create the app by CJAM  – TyreSafe’s Association Management partners.
